Blueberry, chia stovetop jam

I love chia seeds. I also love blueberries. Hence …

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberres

  • 1/3 cup chia seeds

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or other sweetener

  • juice of 1/2 a lemon

Instructions

  1. add blueberries, chia, maple syrup, & lemon juice to a pot

  2. let is cook on medium low heat. The berries will pop as they cook

  3. mash with a fork or potato masher as it cooks

  4. once it comes to a simmer, cook for about 5 minutes

  5. let chill and refrigerate. The jam will set as it cools.
